Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our online shop is directed exclusively at consumers.
A “consumer” is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional activity. An “entrepreneur” is a natural or legal person, or a partnership with legal capacity, who acts in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity when concluding a legal transaction.
2. Contracting party, conclusion of contract, correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with Growing Heroes.
By listing products in our online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products. You may initially place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the products contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation by email.
3. Contract language, storage of contract text
The language(s) available for concluding the contract: German, English.
We store the contract text and will send you the order data and our Terms & Conditions in text form. You can view the contract text in your customer account/login.
4. Delivery conditions
Delivery options
We ship products to the delivery address provided during the ordering process. Shipping costs for the book are €2.90 and must be borne by the buyer.
We deliver by shipping only. Unfortunately, self-collection is not possible.
5. Payment
5.1 Prices
The prices stated at the time of ordering apply. These are total prices. We do not charge VAT.
5.2 Payment methods
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop:
Credit card
During the ordering process you enter your credit card details. Your card will be charged immediately after the order is placed.
SEPA direct debit
By placing the order, you grant us a SEPA direct debit mandate. We will inform you of the date of the account debit at least one banking business day in advance (so-called prenotification). A banking business day is any weekday except Saturdays, nationwide public holidays, and 24 and 31 December of each year. The account will be debited prior to shipping the goods.
PayPal
To pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate with your access data and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction will be carried out by PayPal immediately after the order is placed. Further information will be provided during the checkout process.
PayPal may offer additional payment options to registered PayPal customers selected according to PayPal’s own criteria within the customer account. However, we have no influence over the offering of these options; any individually offered additional payment options relate to your legal relationship with PayPal. Further information can be found in your PayPal account.
6. Liability for defects and guarantees

Information on any additional guarantees that may apply and their precise terms can be found with the respective product and on separate information pages in the online shop.
7. Dispute resolution
We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
